Elite Beat Agents

Have you ever heard of this game. It is an amazing rhythm game for the Nintendo DS. I just got it recently and it is so great. The basic theme is that there are people who are in trouble and they need help. The Elite Beat Agents then come out of nowhere somehow, and get everybody to dance to the music, and everything gets better and gets solved. Confused? Here is an example: There is a mother who reports the weather and has the weekend off to spend with her kid who wants to go on a picnic. Unfortunately, her bosses tell her that the chance of rain this weekend is 100%, so she will have to break her promise to her kid or say that it is going to be clear (when it is obviously going to be rain). So, she gets a fan out and tries to blow away the clouds. When you pass the first part, all the people who live in the same building tell her that they saw the show and that they want to help, and so they all blow fans right at the clouds, making them depart a little. She then tries to suck them up with a vacuum cleaner and a hang glider. Then, after another level is passed, the Air Force comes by and lets her know they saw the show and want to help, so they fly around a lot, blowing more clouds away. Then, after dancing a lot, she still needs more help and the animals of the forest come out and start dancing to make it go away. Eventually, the clouds disappear and she takes her kid on a picnic, with the best burgers ever.

See?

It is do addictive, but so great. One of the greatest games I have played, for its humor and for its great gameplay. Also, it is really hard to do well, but I am getting better.

I agree 1000%! I've finished it on Normal, started playing on Hard since it unlocked three more songs, but haven't got too far into it yet.

By Normal, do you mean J or Chieftan? Because I am currently on Chieftan, and am totally screwed. I keep messing up on Canned Heat and Material Girl. It's most difficult for me to just stop for a sec as the game waits.

That sounds like quite possibly the greatest game ever. If only everyone would dance to the music in real life all our problems would be solved!

Yeah, if people could use dance, the world would be a safer place. Guns? Hah, I can step through the entire song of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, so I'm going to win!

Stupid Let's Dance. It is really annoying as the words don't necessarily follow the rhythm of the music.

Chieftain's hard level. J is Normal.

Yeah, then Hard is difficult. I wonder what the Diva levels are like, if this is so freakin' hard. Of course, I have seen people get perfect 300's on Jumpin' Jack Flash, which sounds so incredibly hard.

Haha, now you see the miracle that is the DS! Now if you can ge your hands on a copy of Ouendan, you'd be set.

Give me some time. I don't think they have the Japanese versions at Wal-Mart.

Oh, and I made it to Diva mode, which is amazingly hard. Basically, it has the same beats as Chieftan, just smaller, and they give you less time to see each one and they are in slightly different locations (for a song, the notes may go from left to right in Cheiftan, but right to left in Diva).

I've had the game since probably 2006. I still haven't gotten past Jumping Jack Flash on Chieftain. I am trying my hardest to figure out the trick still. T_T

Well, at this point, I've beat every single level and at this point I'm going for A's in every level and then 100% 300's in every level. Jumpin' Jack Flash is really hard on Chieftan and Diva. Chieftan and Diva are pretty much the same except for that Diva's markers are smaller and they show up later and are on the screen for less time. If you can beat Chieftan level Jumpin' Jack Flash, you can beat the Diva levels. Just go back to Chieftan to get the rhythm down and you should be fine. Although it is really hard, so good luck.
