2011

Well, I know I haven't posted a lot to this blog recently, but I'm going to try something new for the upcoming year. Being inspired by Here Be Batman, a project where one person has decided to draw Batman (or Batman related art) every single day for a year. As of writing this, she's at 109 days of drawing. It's generally been pretty smooth with just a couple hiccups along the way. Now, I'd love to dedicate a year to drawing Deadpool (or even just characters in general), but the truth is that I suck at drawing. There are pieces I've done that I consider good, but I lack a lot of talent. Instead, I'm going to try to just post something about comics (or comic characters) every day, with art thrown in every week on some day of the week. This is something I'd like to try in 2011, but while I think it would be cool to be able to do this, I have my doubts about my success. Oh well. If I fail, it's not like anyone reads this anyway! So for all my readers (hello me!), I'm going to try to update every day for a year, with art posts every week starting on January 1st.

The Only Thing I Know

Okay, I realize that this video has been on the web for some time now, since February of this year in fact, but I just saw it today. Now, I realize that the end of it shows "hope" for video games as not just things that entirely waste our time, but... it comes far too late in the video, is not nearly enough and really doesn't even begin to help. I will warn you that this might go on for a little while, as this really just makes me, well, upset.
